Established in 1896 by Al Lockhart, our business started as a modest blacksmith shop on the muddy streets of a developing city. Back then, Oklahoma City was a frontier town, a place of opportunity and growth, and our founder saw the chance to build a company that would help protect what mattered most to people. In the early 20th century, as Oklahoma City continued to expand, our services shifted beyond traditional blacksmithing to include locksmithing, offering products like locks, keys, and safes to meet the demands of an increasingly complex world. As we entered the era of A&A Lock Shop, we began providing mobile services, becoming one of the first in the area to serve customers on-site. Our business moved to different downtown locations over the years, establishing Tech-Lock as a steadfast presence in Oklahoma City’s security industry.


By the 1980s, with new security technologies emerging, we rebranded as Tech-Lock, Inc., reflecting our dedication to innovation and a vision for the future of security.
